Angels Talk, Are You Listening?

One translation of the word angels is messengers.  Guardian angels are perceived to be messengers from God in many spiritual bases.  Many people consider angels much more approachable than an omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent God.   Guardian angels go before the throne of God and get their instructions which they then convey to the humans that are their special responsibility. Although the concept of ministering and protective angels is strong in religious literature, most people dont picture themselves having a conversation with their guardian angels. However, if one accepts the concept of angels who are directed to share messages from the Almighty, it follows that guardian angels must be able to communicate those messages in a way that can be understood by humans.

Messages from God, through the ministry of guardian angels can come in many different formats.

Angels can appear as human beings, which would probably be more conducive to hearing the voice of God than if the guardian angels manifested in full angel regalia. We can quite readily conceive of angels speaking through friends and family members when they have bits of good advice for us.

It is important to believe that guardian angels care enough about us to communicate directly when we need help or advice.  The supernatural response to a prayer is not that unusual, but we should be careful to express gratitude about the incident.   A large part of being able to hear the heavenly messengers communication efforts with the individual is the belief system.  First, you need to believe that they exist and that they care about the condition of the human race.  Given that, you must be in a listening mode so that you can receive the communications that are rendered.

Angels talk in many ways.  You may hear the voice as a verbal and audible conversation, meditation or warning.  You may hear guardian angels defining a plan of action during a reading or a time of meditation.  You may also simply get an overwhelming sense of a particular action or path to take, especially when your decisions are confused and uncertain.  You must be willing to take time to focus your mind and questions and to listen to the answers.  In emergency situations, guardian angels may take extraordinary means in order to get you to listen or to remove you from the place of danger.

Angels by definition are carrying the words and thoughts of God to willing receivers, so you can trust that they are true and that they are meant for your ultimate good.  If you accept the concept of ultimate good and the opportunity to know this good, you can rest assured that you will be able to hear and understand the words from the source of good through the angels sent to help and protect you.
