In today's world alternative healing methods have become popular
lately as many people are beginning to want to take charge of their
health and wellness issues. Two of the more popular forms of alternate
healing are called Reiki and Chakra.
Take a look at the salient features and the differences between these two healing techniques:
Salient Features of Reiki:
Reiki
is said to have started in Tibet many thousands of years ago. Seers
from the Orient studied energy and had developed a specific system of
symbols and sounds that promoted universal energies for healing. Many
healing systems across several different cultures have come from this
one root system. However, it seems the original source was lost and
forgotten.

People who practice Reiki, in order to harmonize and heal, channel
energy into a specific pattern. However, unlike many other healing
methods that are based up the human energy field, this form was used to
restore balance and order to someone whose energy had become unbalanced.
Reiki teaches that energy brings many basic results: it can bring
deep relaxation, detoxify the system, destroy energy blocks, and provide
a new vitality received from the healing, universal life force energy.
It also can help improve and increase the frequency of vibrations of
the body.
Like in spiritual healing, Reiki therapy uses the laying on of hands.
There is quite a difference between the two, however. In spiritual
healing, someone who possesses a strong field of energy will place their
hands directly over area of the recipients' body. This helps to
release energy from one body and into another. The healer is considered
to be the one who releases energy.
Reiki differs as the person needing healing draws the needed energy
from the healer. Reiki is designed so the person what needs the healing
takes a part, an active part, in their healing process. This allows
the person to identify their needs and proceed towards fulfilling those
needs by drawing and taking the energy they needs.
Chakra Healing and Chakras
Chakras are the energy centers to which spiritual energy begins to
flow into the body. People who are practicing Chakra healing will
develop awareness by releasing the blocks to increase the flow of energy
 directly into these energy centers.
Chakra is taken from Sanskrit and means wheel of energy. There are
thought to be seven main chakras in the body. These energy centers are
what keep our body balanced and able to keep our energy level high.
When a charka is blocked by negative events or thinking, Chakra healing
is used to help remove the blockage so the life force energy will return
 to normal.
Developing awareness and increasing the flow of energy through these
centers by releasing the blockages are the keys to chakra. There are
four main practices that chakra healers use to help establish the proper
 energy flow.
Meditation is one of the best ways to help develop a sense of
awareness where your personal energy is concerned. When you become more
aware, you will be able to release the blockages and restore the flow
of your own energy. Aura meditation is the key element used in chakra
healing.
Psychic readings that focus on chakra and aura readings are used to
help you learn more about your chakras and auras. There are many
different types of these readings, but in order to learn more about your
energy system, you need to find a psychic who specializes in
clairvoyant aura readings.
Most of the chakra energy problems are due to your emotional
blockages. If you are unable to feel or allow yourself to feel
emotional truth, you block the flow of energy. This in turn will block
your chakras. Releasing these blocks will help create a positive energy
 flow again.
Aura and Chakra Healing
Auras are used in chakra healing to help you increase your energy flow
by helping you release the block and negative energies. Energy
channels, chakras, and aura are all closely related. You will want to
learn about this energy system as a whole.

As per beliefs and studies, there are seven different chakras in our body and all of them are vital energy sources. If you can have a sound and thorough understanding of the chakras and their effects, you can heal your body and channel positive flow of energy.
